Personal Care Assistance (PCA/CFSS)

Personal care assistance/ Community first service services and supports (PCA/CFSS)

At our organization, we offer PCA (Personal Care Assistance) and CFSS (Community First Services and Supports) strictly under the Agency Model. This means our agency takes full responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising the staff who provide care services. Clients still maintain an active role in directing their care, including creating their care plans and outlining their needs. However, the day-to-day management and administrative tasks are handled by us to reduce stress and ensure quality service. We do not offer the Budget/Consumer-Directed Model, in which clients hire and manage their own support workers. By focusing on the Agency Model, we aim to deliver consistent, reliable, and professional care while making the process easier for individuals and families.

PCA: What is it?

A variety of non-medical services, known as PCA, are offered to assist people with daily life activities. PCA can be your link to freedom and a higher standard of living, regardless of whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing a chronic illness, or need a little additional help.

Our PCA/CFSS services include:

Our PCA (Personal Care Assistance) services are designed to support individuals with daily living activities so they can remain independent in their homes and communities. These services include assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, mobility, and eating. PCAs may also help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, reminders for medications, and accompanying individuals to medical appointments or community outings. All services are tailored to meet the specific needs outlined in each client’s care plan, ensuring compassionate, respectful, and person-centered support.
